In one of its recent campus rollouts, LANDBANK brought the initiative to Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) in Zamboanga City, where students participated in interactive missions and financial literacy sessions on digital banking safety, budgeting, and cyber hygiene to help them make informed and secure financial decisions.
“Opening an account through the LANDBANK MBA is very convenient because I no longer have to visit a branch. In just a few minutes, I can open and start using my account. It also helps me monitor my expenses, manage my budget, and transact more safely and conveniently,” said WMSU student Shieha A. Malon.
LANDBANK’s digital transformation efforts have also gained international recognition. The International Finance Awards named the Bank the Fastest Growing Digital Banking Services in the Philippines for 2026, citing its commitment to secure, accessible, and customer-centered digital banking solutions.
Through the Cash-Lite Campus Initiative, LANDBANK is helping shape a new generation of financially empowered Filipinos by bringing digital banking and financial education directly to campuses. By promoting safer transactions, accessible banking services, and responsible money management, the program equips students with essential life skills while advancing the goals of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) Agenda for inclusive growth and improved access to opportunities.
