NAGA CITY – In support of the National Government's push to advance digital financial inclusion, LANDBANK launched the Talubo Bikolnon MSME Fair and the Cash-Lite Campus initiative in Naga City on July 24, 2026. The dual rollout expands access to financing, digital payment solutions, and financial education across the Bicol Region.
LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary Atty. Faye Condez-De Sagon led the events, together with Naga City Mayor and former Vice President Leni G. Robredo, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Naga Area Director Rhoel Guarin, University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) President Dr. Fay Lea Patria M. Lauraya, and other officials.
"MSMEs and educational institutions play a vital role in building resilient local economies. By embedding tailored financing, modern digital tools, and financial education directly into local markets and academic communities, we are driving real financial empowerment. LANDBANK remains steadfast in lowering barriers to capital and technology so every Filipino enterprise and student can thrive in today’s digital economy," said LANDBANK President and CEO Ortiz.
The Talubo Bikolnon MSME Fair gathered around 300 local entrepreneurs to introduce the LANDBANK LIFTING MSMEs Lending Program, which offers financing for working capital, equipment acquisition, and business expansion through three loan packages tailored to different stages of growth.
“Ang mga kasama nating MSMEs ngayon, ito yung mga kababayan nating sumusubok araw-araw para mapabuti ang buhay nila sa paghahanap-buhay. Ang ginagawa ng LANDBANK, DICT, at DTI (ay) malaking tulong po ito para hindi mapag-iwanan ang ating mga MSMEs,” said Naga City Mayor Robredo.
Under the Program, the Start-Up Loan provides up to ₱500,000 for start-ups and microenterprises operating for less than a year; the Step-Up Loan offers up to ₱5 million for the expansion and stabilization of micro and small enterprises; and the Level-Up Loan grants up to ₱50 million for MSMEs pursuing strategic projects, technology adoption, and improved competitiveness.
By equipping both business owners and academic institutions with modern financial tools, LANDBANK reinforces its commitment to bringing accessible digital banking closer to where Filipinos live, learn, and do business.
