Nearly 4,000 farmers and rural community members in Bulacan, Tarlac, and Davao are set to gain greater access to financial services, capability-building, and market opportunities through a new partnership between LANDBANK and the Center for Asian Mission for the Poor Asia (CAMP Asia).

“Our farmers and rural communities have the potential to build thriving and sustainable enterprises when given the right support. By combining LANDBANK’s development programs and financial services with CAMP Asia’s grassroots experience, we aim to strengthen livelihoods, build resilient communities, and create better opportunities for future generations,” said LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz.

LANDBANK Executive Vice President Charlotte I. Conde and CAMP Asia President Rev. Lee Chul-yong formalized the partnership on 6 October 2026 at LANDBANK Plaza in Manila, with LANDBANK First Vice President Eden B. Japitana and CAMP Asia Country Director Buyoung Cho.

Through LANDBANK’s Agri-Fishery Support through Capability Enhancement for Nationwide Development (ASCEND) Program, qualified farmers, Indigenous Peoples, youth, and other underserved groups will receive digital and financial literacy sessions, loan orientations, enterprise development training, and market linkage support.

Farmer groups and cooperatives may also access the LANDBANK Agrisenso Plus Lending Program, which offers a 3% annual interest rate, simplified loan requirements, free life and credit life insurance, and technical and market support.

“With LANDBANK and CAMP Asia working together, we can help farmers reduce their cost, improve their income, and build a more sustainable farming. Together, I hope we can give new hope to our farmers and build a better future for our communities,” said CAMP Asia President Rev. Lee.

CAMP Asia is a non-governmental organization engaged in community development, agriculture, education, livelihood, and capability-building. With support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), it implements programs on climate-resilient agriculture and market integration for durian and other tropical crops, particularly in Mindanao.

The partnership further expands the reach of ASCEND, which has conducted 83 batches of financial literacy sessions and related activities, benefiting more than 60,000 small farmers and fishers

nationwide as of the end of August 2026.
