LANDBANK’s efforts to connect Filipinos to opportunities, champion sustainability, and support underserved communities earned six recognitions at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, affirming the Bank’s development impact beyond banking.

The state-run Bank received three Excellence Awards and three Merit Awards in communication management, digital engagement, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) during the awarding ceremonies held on 27 August 2026 at Solaire Resort North in Parañaque City.

The recognitions coincide with LANDBANK’s 63rd anniversary and highlight the role of strategic communication in amplifying development initiatives, inspiring meaningful action, and bringing government services closer to communities.

"These awards inspire us to continue raising the standard for purposeful communication in public service. Moving forward, LANDBANK will pursue more innovative and inclusive ways to engage Filipinos, champion the aspirations of our communities, and advance development where it matters most," said LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz.

Among the Bank’s Excellence Award recipients was the 2026 LANDBANK Calendar, ‘Wonders Awakened,’ which transformed a traditional corporate calendar into a year-long platform celebrating local destinations, community stories, and countryside development. The campaign generated an estimated 125 million impressions and showcased the beauty and potential of communities nationwide.

“VIG Central,” LANDBANK’s centralized digital governance ecosystem, also received an Excellence Award. The platform made communication tools, branding resources, and information more accessible to employees nationwide, strengthening consistency in messaging and customer experience across the Bank’s extensive network.

The “EcoHuweBest” social media campaign likewise received an Excellence Award for encouraging Filipinos to adopt practical and accessible environmental actions. Its sustainability content reached more than 1.4 million users and generated over 2.3 million views.

LANDBANK also earned three Merit Awards for initiatives that strengthened employee engagement and delivered tangible benefits to communities.

The “One LANDBANK” program transformed the traditional town hall into an interactive nationwide engagement platform, strengthening employee connection, collaboration, and shared purpose across the organization.

The “LANDBANK Creators Club” equipped employees with content creation skills, empowering them to become digital storytellers who share the Bank’s mission, programs, and development impact with wider audiences.

Completing the Bank’s award-winning initiatives was the “LANDBANK Libreng Sakay Program,” implemented in partnership with the University of the Philippines (UP). The program provided transportation assistance to UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) examinees from geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs), helping remove barriers to higher education and giving students a better chance to pursue their academic aspirations.

The six Quill Awards underscore LANDBANK’s continuing commitment to purposeful communication that informs, inspires action, and advances financial inclusion, sustainability, education, and nation-building.
