Pangasinan gov’t, medical specialists seek collab with Stanford hospital

Lingayen, Pangasinan (November 10, 2024)— Representatives of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan and hospital executives and medical experts in the different towns were oriented by officers and administrators of the Stanford Hospital in their two-day official visit in the state of California, United States of America (USA).



The visit from November 7-8 (US time) is part of the Pangasinan provincial government’s benchmarking activities including an engagement and educational discussion with the urban planning council of Daly City, California. 


The United Pangasinanes in America, Inc. invited the provincial government after organizing an official meeting with the heads of the Stanford Hospital and Urban planning Council of Daly City. 


The delegation headed by Provincial Administrator Melecio F. Patague III, Governor Ramon Guico III said, “is part of (my) administration's bid to find ways to improve further (our) health programs.”


According to Patague III, the travel is part of the program of Pangasinan to establish international collaboration with friends overseas. He further said, “it is their dream of working one day with international partners in the improvement of the health programs and services which will really a big help to the people of Pangasinan.”


The group, after the meeting with Stanford officials, were toured inside and outside the hospital before meeting with Daly City Officials.
