Manufactured Surveys, Manufactured Lies

Manufactured Surveys, Manufactured Lies!

Election season has truly unmasked many faces. Some so-called survey organizers have suddenly emerged, parading their so-called “legitimate” surveys—when in reality, their organizations were only recently formed, backed by a mere handful of followers. The attempt to manipulate public perception is blatant, yet the truth remains unshaken.

Their desperate efforts may momentarily sway the uninformed, but those who see through the deception stand firm. In times like these, discernment is power. Let integrity, not illusion, shape the future. These newly emerged organizations now present themselves as the “voice of the people,” yet their true motives remain highly suspect. Formed only recently, with barely any following, they suddenly claim legitimacy—pushing narratives that conveniently serve hidden agendas. This is not representation; it is deception.

True public sentiment cannot be manufactured or manipulated by groups with questionable credibility. The people deserve truth, not orchestrated illusions disguised as genuine surveys. Let the true and undeniable frontrunner stand firm amidst these manufactured survey games. No amount of manipulation can shake genuine public support. Meanwhile, only credible and established survey firms must be given due recognition. The COMELEC must remain vigilant, ensuring that fake surveys—designed to mislead and distort public perception—are exposed and prevented from influencing the democratic process. The people deserve truth, not deception.

These shady survey organizations attempt to fabricate credibility by pushing the narrative that Mauricio Domogan, Poppo Cosalan, and Nick Aliping are the frontrunners—when in reality, the true battle is between Gladys Vergara and Sol Go. Domogan is being subtly edged out due to his advanced age, while Cosalan has yet to make a compelling stand in any serious political platform. Meanwhile, Aliping remains haunted by the massive tree-cutting controversy that continues to define his reputation.

This is not an open race—it is a clear showdown between two women, and no amount of deceptive surveys can rewrite that truth. Institutions such as universities and reputable companies must be forewarned about the deceptive tactics and manipulative forces behind these fraudulent surveys. It is imperative that they remain vigilant, scrutinizing the origins and intent of any data before lending their credibility to such misleading narratives.

It must be emphatically stated: the congressional battle is a definitive duel between the indomitable front-runner, Gladys Vergara, and her sole significant rival, Sol Go.

Time to Pass the Torch: Why Political Comebacks Are Not the Answer
By Malou Laxamana Pascual May 5, 2025
As the May 12 election nears, a quiet but growing movement is making itself heard in Baguio City. It does not come from the traditional campaign stage or the usual political dynasties. It is not funded by machinery or driven by name recall. It comes from the ground, from the young, and from those who are tired of the cycle. Tired of the same names, the same faces, the same families. Tired of watching opportunity slip away as public service is reduced to a personal brand.
