BAGUIO CITY (November 3, 2024)— Gun-related incidents occur in Abra during All Saints' and All Souls' Day rites.

Farmer Felix Arcangel Sape, 40, from Barangay Immuli, Pidigan, was rushed to the hospital after a still unknown suspect shot him Saturday evening, police said, detailing that Sape went out from their house at around 10:50 PM of to check on his chickens which he reportedly heard, were noisy. Several minutes after, an unidentified suspect shot him successively.

Sape was rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital for gunshot wounds on his pelvic area and on his lower left leg.

Although, investigators are probing insinuations that Sape accidentally shot himself after he had refused to undergo paraffin test to determine if he himself fired a gun.

In Sal-lapadan town, police investigators are still trying to gather information on the identity of a suspect who shot a farmer Friday night at Sitio Salideng, Barangay Saccaang.
