Goodhearted Volunteers Medical Mission Provides Free Healthcare to Over 300 Patients in Irisan

The Goodhearted Volunteers (GV) Medical Mission, held on January 10, at the Idogan Covered Court in Irisan Barangay, brought much-needed healthcare services to over 300 residents. This initiative, organized by the City of Baguio and the Baguio Tourism Council in collaboration with Corbridge Group Philippines, Everlasting Lions Club, Saint Louis Sacred Heart Hospital, and Irisan Barangay.


Free medical services were offered during the mission, including eye check-ups, eyeglasses distribution, diabetes screening and medicines, flu vaccinations, blood pressure monitoring, hypertensive medicines, general check-ups, and well-being assessments.


Baguio Tourism Council Chairman Gladys Vergara highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “This medical mission is an example of the power of compassion and collaboration. Through the generosity of our partners and volunteers, we have shown what it means to truly care for our community. Thank you for being part of this collective effort to bring hope and well-being to our fellow Baguio residents.”



The success of the mission was made possible through the efforts of numerous dedicated partners, including Dr. Dwight Black, Dr. Celia Brillantes, Dr. Paul Quitiquit, Dr. Brenda Leung, Dr. Loida Hora, Dr. Dan Torres, Barangay Captain Arthur D. Carlos, and teams from Corbridge Group Philippines, Mirabel Medical Corporation, Littman Drug Corporation, Diabetes Philippines, and SLU-Sacred Heart Medical Center.


Special thanks are also extended to the Baguio Everlasting Lions Club, Baguio Burnham Lions Club, Baguio City Host Lions Club, Pines Association of Nursing Attendants and Caregivers Inc., BGH Doctors, Irisan Barangay, Irisan Health Center, Fernando Tiong, Gov.
