Abra town bet guns down deaf-mute villager without mercy

BAGUIO CITY (October 28, 2024) – A Sangguniang Bayan bet mercilessly gunned down a deaf-mute villager Sunday night in Tayum town in Abra.

 

Bobby Briosos, a former private security guard from Barangay Mudiit, Dolores town, according to the Tayum town police, barged into the house of Florida Alcaide Teneza, 39, at Sitio Pitao, Bagalay, Tayum town, and began shooting the victim several times killing her instantly.

 

One of the village watchmen reportedly informed the police about the shooting that occurred around 10PM.

 

The shooting incident according to the police happened at around 10:00 PM of the said date.

 

Tayum town police bared from their initial probe that Briosos, who is running for a seat at the Dolores Sangunniang Bayan under Team Asenso of Gubernatorial bet son-mother tandem Bangued Vice Mayor Joaquin “Kiko” Bernos and Vice Governor Ma. Jocelyn Valera-Bernos locally known as “Team Asenso”, fled after the shooting.

 

Team Asenso has not released any statement about the shooting incident involving one of their bets in Dolores town.

 

Though after more than an hour of manhunt operations, Briosos was caught at his home.
